Hike Mount Sinai in daylight with a local guide and aim for sunset at a safe approved viewpoint or the summit when conditions allow. Descent is after dark, so a headlamp, sturdy footwear, warm layers and good fitness are essential.

Itinerary

• 11:00 — Pickup: Road transfer to Saint Catherine.
• 15:00 — Trail briefing: Weather, pace and turnaround-time review.
• 15:30 — Ascent: Climb with rest stops chosen by the guide.
• 18:00 — Sunset viewpoint: Use the safest suitable viewpoint for conditions.
• 18:30 — Night descent: Descend together with headlamps.
• 21:00 — Return: Road transfer back.
