Full experience

Leave Cairo before dawn for Bahariya, then change to a local 4x4 for the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and the permitted White Desert formations. This is an intensive road day; route order and park access depend on daylight, weather and official permissions.

Itinerary

• 05:00 — Cairo pickup: Drive approximately four hours toward Bahariya.
• 09:30 — 4x4 changeover: Meet the local desert team and review conditions.
• 10:30 — Black Desert: Cross volcanic-looking hills and approved viewpoints.
• 12:30 — Crystal Mountain: Stop at the quartz-rich landmark without removing material.
• 14:00 — White Desert: See wind-sculpted limestone formations.
• 16:00 — Return: Begin the long drive back to Cairo.
